This is the case of BEC , the last lady of electronic music . In barely two years , this young English has managed to draw attention not only of audiences and critics, but also the techno hottest couple of the moment: Pan-Pot. Thus, BEC was the last artist in joining the roster of Second State , stamp which has just released its debut EP titled Relentles .
And the BEC career has only just begun. Therefore it will be present at the Second State Showcase held on the occasion of the Week Off on Wednesday June 15 at Pacha . In the words of BEC: "Again again that special time of year. You can find me in the SNDST Showcase with Pan-Pot & Dubfire. So, I cooked this mix an hour to celebrate. Sonar Off we go! "
Thus, BEC gives us Urbans Mag exclusively for this mix an hour that is a statement of intent. TechnoBrain and unceremoniously. Are you going to miss it?
You’ve got to admire how Pan-Pot’s Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix are using their Second State label to nurture new talent. Most recently they issued acclaimed EPs from the wildly talented Berlin technocrat Michael Klein. Now they shine the spotlight on emerging techno DJ/producerBEC, who they established a relationship with a little more than a year ago. The Brighton born/London bred artist, who is currently based in Berlin and has been busy touring all over with the Second State crew, provides a snapshot of her buoyant sound on her upcoming Relentless EP. We’re pleased to world premiere “Nascent” from her debut tw0-track effort, a techy, funky monster brandishing bold basslines and wicked percussion.
